Not too many changes, but the 2025 Durango is focused on keeping it simple while catering to modern family and performance needs. With that said, the 2025 Dodge Durango now offers Best-in-Class V8 power along with a Best-in-Class available towing capacity of up to 8,700 pounds. The most notable updates for the 2025 model year is a featured streamlined lineup, and new advanced technology that’s standard across trim options. Other notable updates for the 2025 Dodge Durango include additional package offerings, and four special edition models.
Performance
Performance remains a core focus for the 2025 Dodge Durango, and like we mentioned earlier, this model received Best In Class V8 Power. Depending on the trim, drivers can choose from three potent engine options:
- a Supercharged 6.2L HEMI V8 engine
- a 5.7L HEMI V8 engine
- a 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine
The supercharged engine produces a maximum horsepower of 710, a towing capacity of 8700, making it best in class. This engine also offers a maximum of 645 lb-ft of torque. The 5.7L engine has a maximum horsepower of 360, 390 lb-ft of maximum torque, and a standard towing capacity of 7,400 lbs. The 3.6L engine comes in at producing a maximum horsepower of 295, maximum lb-ft of torque coming in at 295 and a towing capacity of 6,200. Regardless of which engine option you choose, you’ll experience incredible efficiency and power.
